What do you love most about working with TotalMed and/or your recruiter?
I love how efficient, caring and kind my recruiter Meghan is. She does her best to accommodate my requests and needs. She gives me so much support and encouragement when I am not feeling my best. She checks on me daily or weekly to make sure everything is going well or if I have any questions or concerns. She always goes the extra mile with pleasure and ease. I Iove how fast and smooth the TM team work together whenever I get assigned to make sure I have all required documents and tasks done ASAP.
Why did you decide to go into travel healthcare?
To discover and see new places. Meet different people from different backgrounds and cultures.
What is your top tip for fellow travelers?
Make sure to pack only the most important things you really need. It’s always easier to travel light. Whenever you have an offer make sure to check the facility reviews, rank and location. Safety is key when you choose where you want to work and live next. You need to check what services are available, transportation, weather conditions and expenses for accommodation and food. Always save as much money as you can in case of emergency. Any thing can come up when you travel, so you better be prepared.
