TotalMed is seeking experienced Medical Lab Scientists for a 13-week assignment in Evansville, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Staffbot VMS Job #1774  (1) MLT/MLS- Evansville, IN
• Contract Length:13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP (interviewing ASAP)
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40
• Primary Location: Deaconess Midtown (Evansville, IN)
• Shift Requirements: Nights, 9p-7a
• Float Requirements: N/A
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: may be called to cover staffing issues/call-ins
• Required Certifications to be attached upon submission: MLS or MLT certification through ASCP plus diploma or transcripts. Can have AMT or ASCP
• Minimum Experience: > 1 year preferred
• Charting experience required: None
• Required Skillset: Laboratory Generalist capable of working Chemistry, Micro, UA, Blood Bank, and Hemo/Coag
• Additional Skillset: Work independently, reliable, flexible, and confident in experience. Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
• Scrub Requirement: Light Grey scrubs or business casual (edited)

     • State or Compact (where applicable) RN Licensure
     • Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
     • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
     • Ability to build rapport with patients
     • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
